July came so fast!! And so hot! We are experiencing nearly 100 degrees here in New England, which is not supposed to happen! My friends from Texas felt right at home here with the warm weather.
Today will be short and sweet because I’m spending time with my family, but I thought I’d do a little catch up since I’ve been so busy lately. My friends from Texas left at the beginning of the week. It was sad to say goodbye, but we’re looking forward to their next visit already.
For the entire month of June, I was working on a last round of self-editing for one of my books, and finished on the last day of June. This was a huge relief! I wasn’t getting much sleep because I was staying up late, going out with my friends from Texas (who were staying at our house), and then waking up early to edit before everyone woke up. Last night I got eight hours of sleep and it felt so good.
Now, of course, I don’t know what to do with myself because I don’t have a writing project that has a deadline. So I’ve been working on drafting my third book just to keep myself from going crazy, which tends to happen when I take a break from writing.
Now that I’m on vacation from school, I’ve had more time for my writing, my friends, and babysitting. Some days I do a couple different babysitting jobs.
As for this blog, I am preparing for more fun summer posts, and more outfit posts! I’m excited to continue blogging and hope to encourage more people through my writing.
