Ever since I was little, I’ve been referred to as “the girl with big eyes.” I give credit for my eyes to my Italian blood, but I also have a few quick, easy, and simple tricks that I use everyday to make my eyes pop and appear a little bigger and brighter.
Try these out and let me know what you think! It doesn’t involve much make-up, which I love, and it will also make you look more awake. I hope this post helps you achieve the look of larger, bolder eyes.
First off, I need to tell you my number one tip: PLEASE stop with all the eye liner!! Black eyeliner to be specific. It doesn’t look natural, and unless you apply it like a pro, it will probably make you look like a raccoon . . . AND make your eyes appear smaller instead of bigger. And we don’t want that!
Second, you need to shape/define your eyebrows. They frame your eyes and will make your eyes look much bigger if they’re shaped and filled in correctly.
All right, now onto the steps!
Step 1 – Apply concealer below AND above the eye.
Step 2 – Line lower lash line with brown eyeliner in a circular shape to encourage eye to appear round.
Step 3 – Line upper lash line with white eyeliner.
Step 4 – (Optional. I only do this for special occasions.) Cover lid with a very light and neutral eyeshadow. I used a peachy bronze color.
Step 5 – Apply mascara to both the upper and lower lash lines, focusing on the outer lashes.
Step 6 – Line water line with white eyeliner to brighten eyes.
