Productive Things To Do While At Home

Hey there! Today is going to be a good day, okay?

I had a different post planned out for today, but I think I’ll put that one on hold because I want to be sensitive to the fact that this is a difficult time for a lot of people, and I want to provide content that is most helpful for you!

Today is day five of home-life for me, and I would be lying if I said I wasn’t starting to lose my mind a little. BUT. We’re not going to sit around, having a pity party, and wasting this time at home that we all have. So here is a list of things to do during your home quarantine, so you don’t feel like you’re wasting time. I know this is a hard and confusing time, but honestly, can we try to look at it as an opportunity?! Heck, with so much time on your hands, you could write a book! Seriously! You could start a website, you could find something you never even knew you were passionate about!

Reorganize your room/house.

Lately I’ve been sharing some updates I’ve been doing on my bedroom on Instagram stories. It can be so fun to reorganize, declutter, and clean your bedroom or your house, and then it feels like you have a whole new space to live in during your quarantine!

Take a long walk/run.

We can’t really go aywhere, but that doesn’t mean we can’t get outside. I just went on a long run the other night, and y’all know I’m not a runner! But I saw so many people out walking/running in the neighborhood, and it was so theraputic.

Facetime Dates

Call your friends and hangout! It will help you feel way less isolated!

Try a new online workout

I LOVE this thirty minute HIIT workout! If you’re looking for a challenge, try this workout and let me know how you liked it after!

Face Masks

If you’re home, not wearing make-up, you can at least make sure your skin looks amazing! You can do a mask on your own, or invite a friend/boyfriend/husband/sibling to do it with you!

Drive-through runs

My mom and I have been doing Starbucks drive-through runs to stay sane this week, lol!

Paint your nails

You can do your own manicure from home, and it will help you feel so much better to have nice, neat, colorful nails!

Read Some Books – Or Write one!

I mean, have you ever tried to write a book or a short story?? You might love it.

And hey, if you’re looking for something new to read . . . I happen to know of an author that just published a book called Escape the Woods (;

We’re going to get through this home quarantine season, friends! But in the mean time, let’s make the most of our time at home!

Love,

Gabriella
