Recently I asked several friends what they would want to see most on this blog of mine, and most of them said hair and skin care. So I decided that today I would share this amazing mask that I tried and fell in love with.
I am big into taking care of my skin, and I love using natural ingredients to moisturize, revive, and detoxify my skin. This mask only contains two ingredients that you most likely have in your kitchen already. It’s got rich fats that will add so much moisture to your skin, and leave it feeling and looking clean and fresh. I seriously couldn’t believe the results the day after using this mask! Here’s how to make it . . .
Ingredients –
One egg
Avocado
How to apply –
- Whisk egg whites in a bowl (not the yoke)
- Paint/spread over entire face
- Smear avocado on top of egg whites
- Let sit for approximately 30+ minutes
- Wash off
I use a big paint brush type thing to spread the egg whites, but you can use whatever you want. Also, you hardly need much avocado – just enough to cover your face. I try to leave the mask on for nearly an hour while I get work done around the house, and if I’m going to bed after, I’ll wash the bulk of it off but let the oils sit on my skin overnight to get the brightest glow possible. Follow up with a good moisturizer and you’re good to go!
