Ways to be More Productive This Year

Hey, friends! Wow, it has now been over a year since I published my first blog post! I published just over 50 posts in 2018, and hope to continue building my writing platform in the coming year.

How is 2019 going for you so far? This year, I’m trying to get more done and be more productive. By the end of the year, I want to look back and be proud of all I accomplished. I especially want to be productive with my writing.

I think the art of productivity requires a bit of strategy. It takes being willing to manage your time, being willing to wake up early, and do everything to chase after the life you want. I’m still trying to figure it all out myself, and if you have any tips, I’d love to hear them in the comments!

I feel like being productive and living life to the fullest go hand in hand. You can’t sit around all day, wasting daylight, and say you’re making the most of your time on earth. If we could all learn how to make the most of each day and still enjoy life, imagine how much we could accomplish each day.

My Productivity Tips~

Go to bed on time so you can wake up early.

This is one I have a hard time sticking to. As I’ve said before, I like getting up early, but I also like staying up late. But this just doesn’t work! In order to have enough energy to get up and be productive, you have to have gotten enough sleep.

Unsubscribe from mailing lists that send you tons of emails (that usually get left unopened and crowd your inbox).

I did this recently, and it was one of the best decisions I’ve made in a while.

Establish a more productive morning routine.

A good morning routine is the start to a good day!

Use a calendar app on your phone.

Organize your living space.

Even if you just start by making your bed each morning, you’re much more likely to be productive if you keep your room/house/office tidy.

Listen to podcasts/YouTube channels that inspire productivity.

I usually listen to music while getting ready in the morning, but it’s actually really helpful to listen to a good podcast or youtuber for a change. I’m going to link my favorites here!

And my favorite at the moment is Amy Landino. She has amazing tips for waking up early, being productive, and making the most of life. Watch her videos here.

Again, these are my tips – I want to hear yours! I also want to hear what things YOU want to accomplish this year!

As always, thank you for stopping by! I hope you found this post helpful.

  Love,

    Gabriella

These are great ideas for helping us all to be more productive this year. I think starting the day early is so helpful! I don’t have any other specific ideas but staying focused and determined really helps with all of this. Great post!
