My Iced Matcha Recipe!

The Starbucks in my town is curently closed because of Covid. And, although there are worse things going on in life, it’s tough! If you follow me on Instagram (which you should cause it’s a blast) you know how much I love my iced matcha lattes!!! Dunkin now has them, but in my personal opinion, they’re hit or miss.

So I came up with a recipe you can make from home! It’s super easy, and you can make it sugar free/dairy free. You just have to have a matcha powder on hand. Here is the kind I use,

Ingredients –

Matcha Powder (3tsp.)

Truvia (3 packets) Or use sugar or other sweetener of your choice.

Milk (preference amount)

Water (1/3 cup)

Ice

How to make the latte –

  • Pour water into a small bowl.
  • Whisk in matcha and Truvia/suger/sweetener of your choice. (It’s important to add the sweetener here and NOT later on. This ensures that it mixes in well.)
  • Pour mixture into a glass with ice.
  • Add Milk. (For stronger flavor, add less milk.) Soy is my favorite with matcha, but regular dairy milk works well, too!
  • Have a happy, energized day!
