How are you spending the summer? I know everything feels a little different this year, and that can totally get you down. But I don’t want to get to the end of the summer and look back with regret. I want to make the most of the summer months, and really embrace the slower pace and less-structured routine.
Every summer, I like to make lists of activities and goals for you guys. Todayyy, I’m going to share a few of the lifestyle habits I’ve been incorporating into my summer to make it more fun, relaxing, and overall memorable.
Summer Checklist –
- Wear less make-up
- Sleep in (at least a few times)
- Spontaneous late night ice cream runs
- Take more naps
- Focus on getting into really good shape (it can be fun and you’ll have so much more energy)
- Take a run in the rain (better than running in the heat!)
- Listen to worship music while you take a sunrise/sunset walk
- Take lots and lots of pictures
- Drink lots of iced lattes!
- Wear bold lipstick
- Read at least one fiction book
- Lay in the sun and get a tan
- Focus on working toward goals while your schedule is more free
