Nighttime Skincare Routine

I’m very passionate about my skincare routine (; I love knowing my skin is healthy, but I also love the feeling of washing off all the make up and dirt from my face at night and letting it heal and soak up good products while I sleep – not to mention, it keeps my skin looking clear.

I thought I would share my nighttime skincare routine at the moment, since I’ve gotten into one that I really like lately. Keep in mind that I don’t have any skin conditions, and don’t have severely dry or oily skin. My skin is fairly “average”, and doesn’t require a ton of special attention, so this routine won’t work for everyone.

That being said, here is my routine!

Wash off make up

Pretty simple, but I wash my make up off every night and it’s literally THE best feeling in the world. I usually use make up wipes and water, but sometimes I’ll use a really gentle cleanser.

Cleanse skin

Next I wash my face with this cleanser by Olay. This ensures that all the make up is off, and it also exfoliates my skin.

Vitamin E Oil

I started using an oil on my skin over the summer and I really like how good it makes my skin feel! It’s really great for if you have dry skin, but I notice it improving the appearance of my skin, too.

I’ve been using this Vitamin E and Argon Oil by Pearlessense.

Moisturizer

I’ve been using this moisturizer by Pond’s for a couple years now, and I still love it! It is definitely pretty heavy, so good for nighttime, and it lasts for months.

Mask (once a week)

I try to do a quick mask about once a week. I don’t really have a go-to, but I like trying out new ones! If you have a favorite, I would love to hear what it in in the comments!

    Cleansing and keeping skin clean and exfoliated is key. I like using biore products for deep cleaning( especially for the pores on the nose) .
    They work really well for all the face pours to make sure they are clean!
