Taking the Risk

It takes courage to take the risk of following a dream without a guaranteed outcome. It takes
faith. Unwavering faith. We must trust in God when we risk it all to accomplish the dreams He’s set before us.

Hi, friends! How is everybody? Life has been absolutely crazy for me. Like a roller coaster of ups and downs. Recently I had to make a decision. God opened a door for me, and I had to decide to take a risk or play it safe.

My natural instinct is always to play it safe. I like to follow the rules so I don’t end up with consequences. But when God opens a door for you, even if it seems risky, it can lead to amazing opportunities.

If you feel God tugging on your heart, telling you to do something you never expected, I encourage you to listen. Step out in faith and trust that His plans are higher than you could imagine.

If you follow God’s path to accomplishing your dreams, the end results will be much greater than if you depended on your own understanding. You will be able to reach more people in ways you never imagined if you give Him control. He may lead you down a path you never imagined yourself going down, but I promise it will be much better than what you had in mind.

You can make many plans, but the Lord’s purpose prevails.

-Proverbs 19:21

God’s plans for my future are far greater than my fears.

  1. Hi, Patricia!
I’ve been praying for a while now that God would provide a way for me to be able to share my writing with the world, and He recently answered my prayers by helping me find an editor! I feel closer to achieving my writing dreams, and in the last year God has shown up and provided a way in what was seemingly impossible.
