Happy Thanksgiving, everybody! Annnnd just like that, there’s snow covering the ground! Not only do we get a white Christmas here in New England, but we also get a white Thanksgiving!
You all know I’m obsessed with Christmas and the whole month of December, but Thanksgiving is one of my favorite (if not my favorite) days of the year. I love the traditions, the food, seeing family, wearing cozy sweaters, and all that fun fall (winter?) stuff.
Today I have with me my favorite little boy, Judah! He’s been on here a few times, so most of you know that he is one of the little boys I nanny. And isn’t he the cutest little thing??? His blue eyes, sweet little voice, and snuggles are to die for! He calls me Gabby or Gab Gab, and he was so sweet to do this little photo shoot with me. (: He kept on pointing out snowmen, trucks, and icicles. At one point he had a tiny bit of an attitude about taking these pictures, which you can see in this hilarious photo.
But I love him to the moon and back!
All right! Well since it’s Thanksgiving, I’m going to share a list of things I’m thankful for this year. I truly believe all of these things are gifts from God, even though the majority of the time we take them for granted.
Things I’m Thankful For . . .
- Sunshine in the morning.
- Long distance friendships.
- My dog, Moses.
- All of the lovely kids and babies I get to nanny.
- My family, of course.
- Walks after dinner on summer evenings.
- My amazing friend, photographer, and photo editor, Hannah.
- My brothers and sister, who act as my photographers for spontaneous photo shoots.
- Being healthy enough to exercise and do the things I love.
- My volleyball team – I love those girls.
- My grandparents.
- An education.
- My friend Zach, and my friend Kaeley.
- Coffee dates with friends.
- My cousins.
- Long hugs.
- My friends Brittany, Shannon, and Candice.
- My passion for writing.
- Our warm fireplace in the winter.
- Good books.
- My house/the heat it provides.
- My blog/everyone that reads it – YOU!
